Senior Manager – Purchasing and Procurement
TAKKION
• Lead the design and deployment of the Purchasing & Procurement module within our ERP, partnering with IT, Finance, Operations, and project teams. • Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and enforce compliance with procurement policies. • Drive costs out of our purchasing, purchase cost optimization. • Build and lead a P&P team. • Create purchase order workflows aligned with project and operational timelines. • Publish weekly PO-based cost forecasts and committed spends to project controllers. • Develop a real-time PO commitment tracking process to enhance cost accounting visibility before invoices are received. • Drive process improvements that integrate demand planning, supplier performance tracking, and D365 data analytics. • Collaborate with Finance for cost tracking, accrual alignment, and budgeting. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk mitigation, and audit readiness within procurement activities. • Other duties as needed or assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Previous experience in renewable energy required.
- 7+ years of procurement and purchasing leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience with relevant ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of project-based purchasing and job costing in industrial or energy sectors preferred.
- Proven leadership in standing up new systems or transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel as required.

• Training recipients regarding FTA procurement policies and regulations based on 2 CFR 200 and FTA Circular 4220.1G • Responding to questions of FTA recipients regarding FTA procurement policies. • Reviewing corrective actions proposed by recipients as a result of Triennial Review “Findings” of deficiencies in their procurement operations • Reviewing invoices from contractors performing project management oversight of FTA recipients that are administering large construction projects. • Reviewing recipient procurement policies and procedures for compliance with 2 CFR 200.318 – 327.
