About the Role We are seeking an Accountant to manage financial operations for our client's fast-growing business. This remote position focuses on invoicing, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and modernizing accounting systems while working directly with leadership in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do • Process invoices and manage accounts receivable collections • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial tracking systems • Support QuickBooks to modern accounting platform migration • Handle banking and treasury operations with digital workflows • Prepare financial summaries and reports for leadership decisions • Implement AI tools and automation to improve accounting efficiency • Coordinate directly with founder on financial priorities and payment schedules • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant financial records • Respond to payment confirmations during U.S. business hours • Identify process improvements and recommend system modernization What We're Looking For • 3+ years experience in accounting, invoicing, and accounts receivable • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial tracking • Experience with digital banking and payment processing systems • Proven ability to maintain accurate financial records and compliance • Tech-forward mindset with AI tools experience in accounting workflows • Strong English communication skills for U.S. client collaboration • Availability during U.S. business hours (Eastern Time preferred) • Detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving approach What We Offer • Full-time remote position with flexible scheduling • Direct collaboration with company leadership • Opportunity to modernize accounting systems and processes • Professional development through technology implementation • Competitive compensation package • Career growth in accounting and financial operations

• Perform complex reconciliations of cash and general ledger accounts. • Partner with teams across the organization (Bank Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll) to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies. • Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external reporting. • Develop and record accurate general ledger entries, maintaining financial integrity. • Prepare or review financial schedules for audits, financial reporting, regulatory reporting and management. • Prepare GL accruals, building worksheets to analyze more complex balance sheet accounts. • Perform monthly and quarterly variance and yield analysis, verifying transactions are reported in proper accounting periods and ledger classifications. • Monitor and report on the progress of software development projects, ensuring accurate cost allocation. • Assist with implementation and maintenance of reporting systems. • Assist with corporate estimated tax accruals and payments. • Assist with sales and use tax accruals and accounting. • Assist with complex accounting including lease liabilities and ROUA, corporate tax supports, expense/revenue allocations, and other duties as needed. • Utilize Workiva and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to enhance and automate financial processes. • As needed, represent Accounting on Bank projects at meetings and through project completion. • Read, interpret, and apply GAAP, SEC, and regulatory guidance to ensure full compliance. • Maintain and update written accounting plans, desktop procedures, and documentation for assigned functions, and cross-train on other team duties. • Assist in ensuring department is performing in accordance with internal policies/procedures and regulatory compliance rules and regulations.
