IT Business Analyst

ATI Physical Therapy

Overview As the IT Business Analyst, you are an integral member of ATI’s software and integration delivery team, serving as an interface between IT and business stakeholders. You will document business and technical requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, and are responsible for ensuring the final product meets the needs of the business. This role will focus on requests from an IT Demand Queue and can include enhancements to reporting, integration middleware, and custom-built EHR applications. Responsibilities Gather Business Requirements• Conducts preliminary investigation for all project or demand queue requests, including interviews and analysis.• Participates in project workshop sessions with business stakeholders and IT partners to document project objectives and capabilities. Partner with an agile delivery team to determine features for sprint planning. Document Technical Specifications• Collaborate with IT architects, engineers, and quality assurance analysts to determine IT solutions for business requirements. • Develop user stories for agile development teams and support engineers and quality analysts through development lifecycle. • Assist in designing data or application function workflows, mock-ups, or necessary diagrams for business and engineering teams. User Testing and Delivery• Conduct user acceptance testing with business stakeholders and delivery teams, including 3rd party vendors.• Create use case scenarios for user testing and develop training guides.• Participates in root cause analysis of incidents after product delivery.• Participate in project retrospectives and adjust business analyst procedures to align with scrum team optimization. Qualifications Minimum Education Required: - Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or business administration. Minimum Experience Required:• 3 years of experience as a business analyst, in agile software or integration development.Preferred:• Experience with Azure DevOps and process design software• Familiarity with ITIL / Service Management Knowledge Skills and Abilities• Ability to document clear goals and objectives for projects• Strong consulting and client management skills• Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage and interact with both technical and business users of all levels.• Knowledge in IT service design and service delivery.• Ability to frame and distill business and technology problems with a solution-oriented mindset and develop consultative, pragmatic technology-enabled solutions.• Highly collaborative and able to solicit key inputs, data, and points of view.• Ability to write requirements, map workflows, and follow project plans.• Technical acumen in integration, reporting, and analytics technologies.
