The Mission We are seeking a Customer Solutions Architect to partner with our sales team. The right candidate is someone who has broad and deep AWS expertise and a proven ability to establish themselves as a trusted advisor to existing and potential customers. You're passionate about AWS and love working backwards with our customers to drive their business forward. Your Assignment - Lead deep dive architecture & design sessions with customers and propose Well-Architected solutions - Author proposals and statements of work that capture customer requirements & constraints and ensure successful project outcomes - Educate customers & evangelize AWS through blogs, white papers, webinars, presentations, and direct customer engagement Your Qualifications - 5+ years of experience architecting, building, and operating solutions on AWS - 10+ years of experience with infrastructure, application, database, and/or networking architecture - Ability to assess and align business and technical strategy with customer needs - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Superb presentation & workshop leadership skills, ability to tailor conversations to technical SMEs through executive leadership audiences - Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns and Well-Architected best practices - Ability to travel up to 25% (conditions permitting) Preferred Qualifications - Experience with highly-available, fault-tolerant architectures - Experience with IT compliance frameworks and requirements (e.g. PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, security) - Previous experience in pre-sales or equivalent company-internal strategic roadmap influence - AWS DevOps Pro, Specialty Certifications Benefits - Medical Insurance for you and eligible dependents - 401k plan with company match up to 4% and immediate vesting - Competitive phantom equity - State of the art laptop and tools - Dental and Vision insurance - Term Disability Insurance - Term Life Insurance - Flexible Spending Account - Equipment & Office Stipend - Annual stipend for Learning and Development - Generous and flexible PTO - 10 Paid Holidays The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $197,500. If you are hired at Caylent, your base salary is determined on factors such as skills, experience, geographic location, and other market conditions. While it's not typical for offers to be made at the top of the range, please keep in mind that the base salary range is only one component of your overall compensation.
