Job Description

Accountant

bunny.net

• You’ll contribute to our month-end close process, helping us close the books faster and with greater accuracy • Own and manage AR end-to-end: maintaining records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared • Support the UK entity, for example with payroll reviews and VAT returns • Keep financial data clean, reconciled, and audit-ready (always, not just when someone's looking) • Handle high-volume payment flows across gateways, banks, and currencies • Support AP and payroll journals, including working with international payroll setups and external providers • Assist with audit queries • Stay in sync with the German entity accountant and our Slovenian partners, so nothing drifts between entities • Spot what's slow or not scalable and make it better, without overcomplicating it

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a hands-on accounting role (such as Accountant, GL Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar), ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment
  • A strong accounting foundation: ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (or working towards one)
  • Experience with UK accounting, including UK GAAP and/or IFRS in multi-entity or international environments
  • A habit of spotting what could work better, and fixing it, without waiting to be asked
  • Confidence handling volume and complexity (transactions, reconciliations, moving parts)
  • Clear ownership: if it's yours, you get it done
  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Clear communication when working across teams and with external partners

  • Performance-based bonuses - Great work pays off, and we reward impact annually.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Coverage worldwide.
  • Paid time off - Love the slopes or the sea? Enjoy them with 25 vacation days, plus an extra loyalty day each year, capped at 5 years (30 days total), on top of your local public holidays.

  • Home office budget - We believe everyone is more efficient working in a comfortable office, and we're happy to help you set it up with an annual budget of €500.
  • Paid sick leave - Feeling ill? Take time off to fully recover without having to worry about your finances.
  • Parental leave - Paid 16 weeks for birthing parents, 8 weeks for non-birthing parents. If your country gives more, that’s your baseline. If it gives less, we top it up.
