Senior Director, Quality Assurance

Position Purpose: Defines the outlook and standardization of daily operations of communicating policies, procedures, and processes to ensure prescribed objectives are met. Collaborates with interdepartmental interactions with internal audit to ensure compliance of systems and processes. - Sets standards for departmental performance, quality, and operations - Manages a department comprising of multiple teams handling quality of interactions, systems, and processes - Leads the development and implementation plans for quality assurance systems, procedures, and policies - Provides leadership team a vision and direction to the department to help achieve department and function goals - Ensures adherence to department budget while collaborating inter-departmentally to effectively forecast and request funding for the quality assurance team - Designs and defines the functional strategy and roadmap trainings programs to ensure continuous development of workforce - Leads management review activities and oversees quality management system performance metrics - Engages with onboarding, hiring, and training new and performance and/or reward decisions within quality assurance department to support future growth and strategy - Performs other duties as assigned - Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience, including prior management experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. 5+ years management experience preferred. Pay Range: $160,800.00 - $296,600.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with 7+ years of Supplier Quality and/or Quality Assurance experience - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with expertise in at least two areas (e.g., castings, forgings, machining, plastics, coatings, heat treatment, metallurgy). - Proficient in quality tools and methodologies: Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFD, FMEA, PCP, MSA, SPC. - Demonstrated problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and statistical methods. - Strong Computer Literacy with MS Office products - Strong analytical and project management abilities. - Experience with formal supplier assessments, ISO 9001, TS16949, AIAG, CQI and AS9100 based assessments and various supplier audits. - Background in metrology, inspection methods, and new product development. - Experience with ERP systems - Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and within matrix teams, including supplier networks. - Proven leadership experience with change management and stakeholder engagement. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
