• Supports Data Services delivery through the development, maintenance, and execution of data processes across client engagements • Responsible for coding, reporting, and production support, particularly within merger and conversion projects • Contributes to data transformation, validation, and delivery execution while building foundational technical expertise • Serves as a key contributor to delivery teams and is positioned as a development pipeline for progression into a Senior Technical Engineer role through structured training and increasing technical responsibility • Develops and maintains code for reports, data processes, and transformation logic to support client deliverables • Modifies and optimizes existing code, load sets, and scripts to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency • Supports the execution of ETL processes and data workflows within established frameworks • Executes production tasks related to mergers, conversions, and other client deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and consistency • Supports ongoing data processing activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in coordination with senior team members • Supports data validation, testing, and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness • Identifies, documents, and assists in resolving data-related issues and discrepancies • Collaborates with team members to ensure quality control standards are consistently applied • Works closely with Senior Technical Engineers on complex implementations, contributing to execution while building technical knowledge • Participates in structured training and development programs to enhance technical skills and capabilities • Gains exposure to increasingly complex systems, data models, and integration scenarios to support career progression • Contributes to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of data processes and tools • Supports team initiatives and internal efforts to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of delivery.
Job Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and database architecture
- Strong coding skills including SQL and relevant scripting or ETL tools
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments with limited documentation or predefined structure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Ability to independently design and execute complex technical solutions
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL and general programming or scripting languages
- Basic understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and reporting systems
