Junior Data Analyst

J-Mack Technologies, LLC

• Analyze and prepare data needed for modeling and ad hoc analyses • Develop advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner • Implement statistical and data mining techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, machine learning, and retrieval processes) on large amounts of data to identify trends, patterns, and other relevant information • Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to effectively integrate and communicate analysis findings • Evaluate emerging datasets and technologies that may supplement existing analytical platforms

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of data analytics experience
  • Hands-on experience preparing data for advanced analytics
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytics concepts and algorithms (e.g., Regression Analysis, Logistic Regression/Decision Tree, Monte Carlo methods, Survival Analysis, Simulation, etc.)
  • Proficiency in programming languages including SQL, Python, and R
  • Ability to obtain Background Investigation Clearance.
  • Fraud or Anomaly Detection experience
  • PowerBI dashboard development experience
  • Experience using RStudio
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Experience with DevOps tools and workflows such as Git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, or equivalents

Beyond traditional data support, this role serves as a key contributor to the organization’s AI enablement strategy—implementing, monitoring, and supporting AI-assisted workflows that improve efficiency and outcomes across the enterprise. The Data Analyst brings technical fluency in data tools alongside strong interpersonal skills that bridge the gap between complex data and the frontline teams who rely on it. This person is intellectually curious, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and energized by the opportunity to help a mission-driven healthcare organization make the most of its data and emerging technologies. Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a closely related field—OR equivalent practical experience demonstrating proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analyst, reporting analyst, or equivalent role. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable dashboard/visualization tools preferred. Experience supporting or training end users on data or technology tools preferred. Familiarity with healthcare data, clinical terminology, or electronic medical record (EMR) systems a plus but not required.
