Platform Development Lead - Consumer Health Innovation The Platform Development Lead is responsible for driving the execution of innovation initiatives within the Consumer Health Innovation portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Platforms Innovation, this role focuses on translating strategic innovation priorities into actionable incubation programs. The role leads the development, validation, and commercialization of emerging platforms, technologies, and digital solutions aligned with Aon’s evolving consumer health ecosystem. The position requires a highly collaborative leader who can manage cross-functional teams, accelerate experimentation, and move new concepts from discovery through proof-of-concept, pilot programs, and go-to-market readiness. This role can be performed virtually from your home anywhere in the continental United States. What the day will look like Innovation Execution & Platform Incubation - Lead the incubation and execution of new consumer health platforms, digital solutions, and emerging technology initiatives aligned with Consumer Health Innovation priorities. - Translate strategic innovation themes into structured incubation programs and solution roadmaps. - Drive initiatives from concept development through prototype, pilot, and commercialization readiness. - Develop and execute workstreams, milestones and deliver across incubation programs. Mitigate risks if necessary. Market Discovery & Opportunity Assessment - Conduct discovery and validation efforts to identify emerging opportunities in consumer health engagement, benefits delivery, and digital platforms. - Apply design thinking and human-centered design approaches to validate consumer and client needs. - Evaluate competitive landscape and emerging technological trends relevant to the health benefits ecosystem. AI & Technology Enablement - Support the evaluation and integration of AI-driven tools, intelligent automation, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies into innovative initiatives. - Partner with technology and architecture teams to ensure scalable platform design and integration with Aon systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with product, technology, client leadership, and commercial teams to advance innovative initiatives. - Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and potential ecosystem partners. - Create excitement around new initiatives and support product positioning for market readiness Skills and experience that will lead to success - 15+ years’ experience in Product Management/Product Execution or in similar roles. - Strong understanding of Product Delivery Best Practices and Execution - Proven experience in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that have delivered measurable business value - Experience in Agile delivery and thinking - Experience in Health Insurance Industry - Proven track record of progressing through Product ideation to delivery - Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Education: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience. Pay Transparency The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 - $210,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
