As a Policy Specialist for the Monetized Policy team, you will play a key role in how we define, enforce, and communicate our stance on advertising and monetization policy issues that impact users, creators, and advertisers across music, podcasts, and user-generated content. You will lead cross-functional efforts to improve policies and enhance Spotify advertising and monetization products. You will work with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliver innovative solutions to address the emerging issues facing users online. What You'll Do - Research, draft, implement, and iterate on our advertising and monetization policies. - Support operations and enforcement teams with investigations of potentially violative content. - Conduct risk assessments and identify key policy issues and online safety trends in the advertising and monetization space. - Influence the priorities and direction of cross-functional stakeholders with regards to advertising and monetization policy, enforcement, and product safety efforts. - Contribute to model development, ground truth exercises, and refinement. - Vet and provide feedback on new products and features to ensure user safety remains a top priority. - Stay abreast of online user safety trends. - This role may require some weekend or holiday coverage on an on-call basis.
