Insurance Accountant – Domain Trainee, English

• Regularly post business transactions and manage month, quarter, and year-end activities. • Participate in audit requests and support accounts payable, assets accounting, and treasury areas. • Perform accounts, banks, systems, and intercompany reconciliations. • Assist in producing monthly financial reports and liaise with internal and external parties to meet deadlines. • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, corporate, and other requirements. • Analyze and prepare management information reports as needed. • Support the country finance manager and ensure accuracy in accounting postings. • Resolve stakeholder queries via email or phone. • Create and update processes and internal documentation regularly. • Participate in continuous improvement projects and support standardization/automation of European procedures. • Deliver exceptional service standards and maintain updated data.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in economics, administration, accounting, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of income statement and balance sheet concepts.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured and autonomous working style.
  • Ability to explain findings clearly without confusion.
  • Results-driven with energy to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan workload to meet deadlines.
  • Curious and willing to learn with a challenging conventions spirit.
  • Good analytical skills and critical thinking with a proactive attitude.
  • Experience in accounting (minimum five years) in a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel (advanced), VBA is a plus; knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP is beneficial.
