Associate Director, Finance & Operations Reporting

Role Description As an Associate Director, Finance & Operations Reporting, you’ll play a key role in developing enterprise-wide reporting that provides visibility to E Source’s financial and operational reporting. You’ll work closely with the FP&A, Accounting, Commercial, and Business Unit teams to define key performance metrics (KPI’s), leading indicators of performance, and improved weekly and monthly reporting, helping ensure our work is not only smart, but clear, relevant, and actionable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business, finance, data, and reporting brings strong judgment to complex problems, and wants to contribute to work that shapes real-world decisions in the energy industry. - Lead or contribute to weekly and monthly financial and operational reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting processes - Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling outputs for the Business Unit leaders, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across FP&A, Accounting, Commercial, and Business Units - Apply research, analysis, or insight to improve business performance and profitability - Shape and refine reports, tracking procedures, and communication of results - Contribute to a culture of clarity, curiosity, and continuous improvement Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent field of study - MBA is preferred but not required - Expert skills in MS Excel, Powerpoint - Strong interest in learning and applying AI tools to reporting Requirements - Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and asking smart questions - Can synthesize complex information into easy to understand reports and presentations that concisely tell a story and highlight key takeaways for executives - Work well with people of different backgrounds across the U.S. and Canada, in a remote-first environment - Are highly productive, have a bias for action, and push to get things done efficiently - Care about quality, clarity, and real-world impact Benefits - Excellent insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision plans; company-paid life insurance; company-paid long- and short-term disability insurance; medical and dependent-care flexible spending plans, and paid parental leave. - A flexible time off (FTO) policy that provides paid time away from work, approved by your manager, while ensuring business needs, workload commitments, and appropriate coverage are maintained. - A 401(k) plan with a 3% employer match. - The budgeted salary for this position is $150,000 USD + $20,000 annual bonus. As an onX Geospatial Data Operations Specialist, you will provide support for our core data types that power the suite of onX mobile apps. You will manually curate data in support of ongoing improvements to map content quality and coverage. As an onX Geospatial Data Operations Specialist, your essential job duties and responsibilities will look like: - Manual curation within onX's web-based GIS editing platform of high-value datasets. - Process spatial data within our established processing pipelines. - Conduct quality control checks on spatial data to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Communicate with the team leads to address any issues. - Critically analyze existing processes and make suggestions for improvements. - Provide support to ad hoc data processing needs.
