Role Description onX is seeking a Senior Product Designer who will shape the future of onX Fish — a data-rich consumer product that helps anglers choose the right water, find the best spots, and fish with confidence. In this role, you’ll be the sole design lead for onX Fish, embedded directly within a high-velocity product team that ships in fast, overlapping cycles. You’ll work across iOS, Android, and responsive web to turn complex geospatial and environmental data into interfaces that are intuitive, beautiful, and genuinely useful on the water. This is not a role where design happens upstream of execution; it happens inside it. You’ll jump into work already in motion, shape product decisions and refine design in real time alongside product, engineering, and data partners, and ship polished UX at the pace the team moves. You’ll take ownership of your work, collaborate closely with partners across the organization, and help move initiatives forward in an environment where priorities evolve, learning is celebrated, and you’re encouraged to keep stretching your skills. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Design & Research. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, HCI, Visual Design, or equivalent experience. - Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience, including at least five (5) years of product design experience shipping consumer-facing digital products, particularly for data-rich or geospatial experiences. - Cross-platform design experience spanning iOS, Android, and responsive web. - Proven ability to work at high velocity within cross-functional teams, contributing design judgment inside fast-moving delivery cycles rather than through sequential phases. - Native fluency with AI tools in your design workflow; using them daily to prototype, ideate, and explore, and treating AI-generated concepts from partners as starting points to build on. - Strong instinct for map-based and geospatial interfaces, with experience designing spatial data visualizations and layered information overlays. - Communication style that converges toward decisions: you present recommendations, not process walkthroughs, and earn influence through the quality of shipped work. - High agency and self-direction — you pull context from available resources, form your own point of view, and create clarity in ambiguity. - A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI. - A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values. - Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX. - Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a Basecamp. - A portfolio is required as part of the application. Requirements - Own the end-to-end design for onX Fish across iOS, Android, and responsive web — from concept through shipped, polished UI. - Design data-dense, map-first interfaces that make complex geospatial, environmental, and species data useful and accessible to anglers. - Work within fast, non-linear product cycles — picking up prototypes, PRDs, and engineering spikes already in motion and elevating them with strong design judgment. - Collaborate daily with product, engineering, and data partners as a co-builder, contributing to UX decisions in real time rather than through sequential handoffs. - Independently synthesize strategy documents, user research, and data to identify the highest-impact design work and bring a point of view without waiting for explicit assignments. - Create design iterations that drive both divergent ideation and convergent decision-making; ultimately landing on a strong design POV and recommendation with a clear rationale, calibrated to the customer problem to solve and the scope of the iteration at hand. - Set a high bar for Design in onX Fish, ensuring beautiful UI, UX consistency, and usability across the product surface. - Design AI-powered features, including conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, and AI-assisted workflows that are core to the Fish product roadmap. - Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work, and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation. Benefits - Competitive salaries, annual bonuses, equity, and opportunities for growth. - Comprehensive health benefits, including a no-monthly-cost medical plan. - Paid parental leave of 13 weeks for birthing parents and 5 weeks for non-birthing parents. - 401k matching at 100% for the first 3% you save and 50% from 3-5%. - Company-wide outdoor adventures and amazing outdoor industry perks. - Annual “Get Out, Get Active” funds to fuel your active lifestyle. - Flexible time away package that includes PTO, STO, VTO, and paid holidays.

Role Description In the role of Senior Financial Analyst – Strategic Finance & Special Projects, you will serve as a high-impact analytical resource for onX's most senior leaders. Rather than supporting a specific product vertical, you will work directly at the direction of the CEO, CFO, and Senior Director of FP&A on the company's most complex, ambiguous, and consequential financial and strategic questions. What You'll Do - Lead end-to-end analysis on special and ad hoc projects assigned by the CEO, CFO, and Senior Director of FP&A, focusing on operational and business performance across the company. - Identify trends and anomalies, construct a narrative, and deliver clear recommendations. - Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, new business lines, pricing strategies, operational investments, etc. - Manage ad-hoc projects that include areas of analysis such as market sizing, scenario modeling, long-term strategic opportunity assessment, etc. - Develop and stress-test business cases for major strategic initiatives, providing leadership with a grounded view of expected returns and key assumptions. - Independently source, extract, and manipulate data from multiple internal and external sources. - Partner closely with the Business Intelligence team to build scalable data pipelines, improve data accessibility, and inform the development of analytical infrastructure that supports the broader finance function. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field. - Five (5) or more years of experience in finance, strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or a related analytical function. - Advanced SQL proficiency — comfortable writing complex queries, joining multiple data sources, and extracting insights independently from large datasets. - Strong financial modeling capabilities, including scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, DCF, and ROI frameworks. - Experience working directly with or embedded near a Business Intelligence or data engineering function. - Demonstrated ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments with minimal direction. - Exceptional written communication skills — ability to produce narrative-format analyses and recommendations for senior leadership. - Proven comfort presenting complex analyses to C-suite and senior executives. - A desire to learn and actively leverage AI tools to improve analytical speed and quality. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. - Experience in a B2C SaaS or subscription business is strongly preferred. - Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX. - A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values. Requirements - MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required). - M&A, corporate development, or investment banking experience (preferred but not required). - Strong preference for candidates located in Salt Lake, Missoula, or Bozeman.
