This position is responsible for working with leaders and process owners to identify and lead transformational end to end process improvement initiatives focused on operational results such as productivity, quality, unit cost, and timeliness. The improvement efforts will include a broad evaluation of people, process and technology, focused on improving the customer experience and improving operational metrics. This individual will introduce an innovative and “out of the box” thinking style as they lead improvement strategies for operational business capabilities while skillfully applying continuous improvement methodologies. The role’s primary job functions will support Mutual Funds Operations. Job Duties and Responsibilities - Lead the identification of transformational improvement opportunities, prioritization and alignment across leaders to ensure achievement of operational improvement goals within large operations units. Work with business leaders to understand the voice of the customer and to collect pain points. - Lead (plan, organize, control and evaluate) highly complex cross-functional business process improvement initiatives fully utilizing the Lean Six Sigma methodologies in support of divisional and departmental goals. - Collaborate with IT to develop technical solutions to improve operational capabilities and improve the customer experience. - Develop and maintain a divisional roadmap (people, process, technology) in partnership with senior leaders and actively track progress toward objectives. - Continually research and evaluate the external marketplace for best practices and how they could be applied. This includes evaluation of vendor proposal and contracts. - Partner with the Customer Experience and the Strategy Office to ensure the processes are being operationalized appropriately according to corporate guidelines. - Provide cross-functional leadership and support of business process transformation. Serve as a collaborative resource to mentor and support business process improvement initiatives throughout the division.
