Job Description Role Summary We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect to lead the end‑to‑end architecture, implementation, and optimisation of ServiceNow platforms, with a primary focus on ITOM. Key Responsibilities: The architect will be responsible for ServiceNow architectural design, ensuring platform scalability, security, performance, and alignment with best practices, while delivering ITOM capabilities across internal ServiceNow implementations and multiple customer ServiceNow instances. They will act as a technical authority across the ServiceNow platform, combining deep ITOM expertise with strong cross‑module architectural knowledge, governance, and stakeholder leadership. ServiceNow Platform Architecture - Own and define the ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring alignment with best practices and long-term roadmaps. - Provide architectural leadership across core ServiceNow modules, including: o ITSM / CSM o ITOM o Integrations - Define and enforce platform governance, best practices, and design standards across internal and customer instances. - Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and upgrade readiness. ITOM Architecture & Delivery - Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM, including: o Discovery (on prem, cloud, hybrid) o Service Mapping o Event Management - Define ITOM reference architectures, patterns, and operating models. - Design resilient and scalable MID Server architectures, including security and performance. Discovery, CMDB & CSDM - Architect and optimise Discovery and data ingestion strategies, including integrations with: o Microsoft Intune o SCCM o Other enterprise data sources - Ensure CMDB design and population align with CSDM best practices and support service visibility, impact analysis, and automation. - Support CMDB governance, data quality improvement, and remediation initiatives. Event Management & Integrations - Design and implement ServiceNow Event Management solutions for internal and customer environments. - Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring and event sources (e.g. Azure Monitor, CloudCheckr, OpsView). - Define event rules, alert correlations, health models, and noise reduction strategies. - Ensure event data supports proactive operations and effective incident response. Collaboration & Leadership - Provide technical leadership and mentoring to ServiceNow developers, ITOM engineers, and architects. - Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service management teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. - Contribute to architectural roadmaps, continuous improvement initiatives, and platform health activities. Qualifications Skills, Education & Qualifications: - 5-6 Years Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow ITOM Architect or Senior ITOM Consultant. - Proven delivery experience across ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management - Experience integrating ServiceNow ITOM with: o Microsoft Intune o SCCM o Enterprise monitoring / event management tools - Solid understanding of CMDB design and governance, CSDM, ITIL and service operations - Experience designing and managing MID Server architectures. - Ability to work across multiple ServiceNow instances. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. - Must have the following certifications: o Certified System Administrator o Certified Application Developer - At least 1 of the following certifications: o Implementation Specialist (Discovery) o Implementation Specialist (Service Mapping) o Implementation Specialist (Event Management) Additional Information Why Version 1? Role Description We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our ServiceNow Engineering Team.
