• Own pipeline generation across a defined set of target accounts • Help shape messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy • Partner directly with Account Executives to break into new accounts • Play a critical role in defining what “good” looks like for US go-to-market • Execute outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate pipeline • Book qualified meetings with HR, operations, and people leaders • Own account-based prospecting across key industries and stakeholders • Test and optimize messaging to improve response and conversion rates • Partner with AEs to convert meetings into revenue and ensure smooth handoffs • Contribute insights to refine outbound strategy and drive continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- 6–24 months of SDR/BDR outbound sales experience
- Proven ability to generate meetings through outbound prospecting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of ownership and accountability
- You’ve got legitimate cold calling experience
- Self-starter comfortable operating in ambiguity

Join our journey We’re looking for an Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. You will convert high-intent inbound leads into qualified sales opportunities (SALs and SQOs). This role sits at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, ensuring every inbound lead receives timely, personalized, and consultative engagement. You will be the first human touchpoint for CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Directors, and finance leaders exploring Nominal. Your mission is to understand their challenges, qualify their needs, and book meaningful intro calls that lead to revenue-generating conversations. Responsibilities and Impact - Engage inbound leads from webinars, the website, paid campaigns, and events, and qualify them using Nominal’s ICP. - Conduct initial discovery conversations to uncover pain points, goals, and potential fit. - Move leads through HubSpot and Salesforce stages while maintaining excellent CRM hygiene and detailed notes. - Schedule intro calls, manage confirmations, ensure attendance, and support smooth handovers to AEs. - Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to share feedback, optimize lead quality, and support weekly pipeline reporting. - Execute tailored outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls, and video using enrichment tools like Clay, Apollo, Instantly, and Orum. - Reduce response time, improve SAL to SQO conversion rates, and proactively identify opportunities to accelerate pipeline movement.
