• Support the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in coordinating and managing data across organizational systems. • Perform data profiling, discovery, and modeling to ensure data integrity and usability. • Gather and interpret business requirements to inform data documentation and design decisions. • Coordinate various data sources across organizational systems to ensure consistency and accessibility. • Perform data modeling and design to support integration and migration efforts. • Write and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data from relational databases. • Clean and validate data to support reporting and migration activities. • Run basic reports and maintain existing dashboards to support operational needs.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years of experience working on data migration or data integration projects.
  • 2 years of SQL experience writing queries to extract data from relational databases.
  • Demonstrated experience cleaning data, running basic reports, and maintaining existing dashboards.
  • Experience with programming languages commonly used for data analysis, such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Completion of 2 or more full-scale data migration projects involving legacy-to-cloud or legacy-to-modern ERP/CRM transitions.
  • Experience working on a development team.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
