• Preparation and presentation of detailed mail plans and quarterly reviews for existing accounts. • Develop and present new test recommendations • Overall management and retention of client accounts • Maintain accuracy and integrity of partner relationships with clients • Solid understanding of co-op database models and audience development. • Negotiate with List Managers for targeted deals for client • Provide support and problem resolution for order production team • Liaison with VPs and SVPs and other department managers • Maintain knowledge of all functions in department to provide support wherever needed • Attend trade shows, new business presentations & client reviews upon request • Participate in development of new business presentations • Stay abreast of industry trends and technology advancement in the industry • Proactive problem resolution

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years combined nonprofit experience, either on the client or service side.
  • Experience in building mail plans
  • Experience with Digital Co-Targeting
  • Knowledge of Nextmark
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Skill in problem solving
  • Skill in researching and reviewing statistical data
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests
  • Ability to use computer software programs including Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn quickly with little instruction
  • Mailer, Co-op database or agency experience preferred

The position involves management of group health plans which are self-funded. This position serves as a direct resource to Allied’s Account Management Teams and specifically the Account Executive who acts as team lead. The Senior Account Manager will help identify appropriate carriers, managed care networks, manage the new business implementation process, preparing and submitting reporting for key accounts, implement plan changes, perform client presentations and review plan performance. Communicating compliance requirements and evaluating benefit plans is essential. The position is responsible for the overall client satisfaction of the account. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Act as the liaison between the client/broker and Allied Executives and various Allied Departments involved with the benefit plan. Provide communication and services to clients and brokers regarding ACA compliance, claim issue resolution, reporting, industry related and legislative information. Conduct quarterly meetings to review plan performance reporting and build Allied/client relationship and ensure client satisfaction. Implement and manage new client implementations, lead implementation meetings to team of managers, provide follow up on open or missing items to complete the installation. Communicate plan changes internally about plan design changes, contract specifications, accounting/billing, and any vendor partner changes.
