The Senior Account Manager - Carrier Sales is responsible for the overall care, growth and retention of the Carrier Sales team’s Total Billed Revenue (TBR). The roles primary responsibility is to maintain and grow existing TDS carrier revenues, which is achieved by managing new circuit sales through the Clarity (CAA) project process, renewing circuits, upgrading circuits, and providing expert customer service to our carrier and wholesale customers. This position will work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm CST. The Senior Account Manager - Carrier Sales is targeted to earn $80,460+ annually (base + commission). You will be a solution seller by identifying opportunities to leverage TDS’s full complement of solutions and technology offerings, which encompass: Ethernet, Dark Fiber, Internet, TDM, and Sonet products. You will be responsible and accountable for maintaining and growing an existing carrier base of customers as well as assisting with new business opportunities. You will manage moves, adds, changes, and deletions (MACD) to existing carrier customer accounts and will renew existing carrier contracts, some of which require responding to RFPs. You will proactively foster additional revenue growth by building a funnel of renewals and upgrade opportunities. Working in concert with the manager, you will craft a specific sales plan that will chart a course for meeting TBR objectives as well as assisting in generating new monthly revenue. You will manage the delivery of the sold products to the carrier and/or wholesale customer. You will validate the Data Gathering Form (DGF), versus the contract to ensure what is sold matches the request. You will validate SOX approvals from product management and, in some instances, are required to invoice and verify payment based on contract requirements. You will open projects in Clarity and manages customer questions and sets expectations throughout the construction projects. You will meet with the Manager-Project Implementation (MPI) weekly for status updates, project timelines and monitors orders through the process. You will process Metasolv orders to design circuits, exchange VLAN, and send FOC to customers. The successful candidate must be detailed oriented, experienced in managing a database, willing to consistently demonstrate extraordinary dedication to customers, and have strong problem solving skills. The individual will become an expert on all wholesale and carrier products. You must be willing to take the lead on resolving customer issues through escalation to the appropriate teams and provide timely follow-up. This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates. Responsibilities - Manage existing account base. Take new sales from signed contract through CAA project to acceptance by customer. Manage customer expectations on project completion and deliver contracted product to customer for testing.
