Implementation Manager I – Voluntary Benefits

The Standard

• Develop and execute client-specific implementation strategy projects and successfully handle post-sale activities to retain large employee benefits group customers • Drive and develop a customized implementation plan for each new national, mid-market, or regional account • Serve as point person, both internally and externally, to ensure efficiency and consistency throughout implementations • Gain insight into clients' culture, priorities, and goals to design and implement dynamic solutions • Effectively convey diverse client needs and requests internally • Drive the resources needed for successful implementations • Respond to questions, provide requested documentation, and orchestrate internal process changes to fulfill client and broker requests • Coordinate and manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints while meeting changing priorities and deadlines

Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s in business, communications, or other applicable and/or related field is preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of group insurance experience with progressive responsibility and an emphasis in project management, benefits administration, large case management, enrollment technology, or the equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Experience with direct customer interaction is required
  • Experience working with HR Departments and brokers preferred
  • Demonstrated employee benefits product expertise and the ability to learn new products
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, prioritizing, decision-making, and organization skills
  • Strong project management skills and a proven ability to multi-task effectively
