The Manager, Communications develops and executes the communications strategy for the National Roundtables business unit including its national roundtables programs. This position serves as the communications hub of the Business Unit, specifically leading in the development, execution, and evaluation of the ACS National Roundtables Integrated Communications Plan. The position oversees the digital properties (websites, newsletters, and social channels) for each of the national roundtables, collaboratives, and other convening programs. The position is responsible for identifying new ways to engage the digital community, drive social media content planning and build relationships with partner organizations and volunteers while aligning to enterprise marketing and communications standards. *This is a remote position* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies related to the ACS National Roundtables Business Unit Integrated Communications Plan. 25% - Plans, tracks, and executes the business unit communications and events calendar. 15% - Leads the planning and execution of communications strategies for roundtable and collaborative projects, programs, events, or product launches and amplification. 15% - Oversees content creation and ensures brand consistency across ACS National Roundtable digital properties, including flagship websites, newsletters, and social media. 15% - Leads relationship and planning between program activities and enterprise priorities with colleagues in ACS Marketing and Communications. 10% - Creates the graphic design and creation of smaller assets and collateral, including information briefs, program overview documents, presentations, impact reports, promotional materials, etc. 10% - Reports and analyzes team digital analytics to adjust strategy and improve communication tactics and performance. 5% - Guides Business Unit and ACS National Roundtable leads through various communications and public relations tasks such as preparing and proofreading internal and external written communications (internal articles, press release opportunities, program materials and resources, etc.). 5% EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree - Preferred Degree: Master's Degree - Years of experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in areas related to communications, marketing, social media, and graphic design. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: - Motivated, self-starter, and able to work with a team. - Strong writing and proofreading skills. - Solid understanding of social media & social media monitoring tools. - Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). - Familiarity of WordPress. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to travel 10% - 15%. Physical Requirements: N/A The starting rate is $65,000 to $75,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended.
