Who We Need We’re seeking a Sr. Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to focus on policy development, security control implementation, network traffic analysis, and maintaining DoD cyber governance and compliance. The position will also be responsible for business development in the cybersecurity field. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled cybersecurity professional with a proven track record as a highly technical ISSM. This role requires excellent policy and technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other IT and security teams. What You'll Do Develop appropriate policy is accordance with DoD regulations and industry best practices. Conduct compliance scans as dictated by the customer. Conduct vulnerability scans on a weekly basis in accordance with DAF TASKORDS and DoD regulations. Assist engineering staff with design changes. Participate in change control boards as a voting member. Stay updated with the latest DoD regulations, emerging cybersecurity trends. Develop and implement custom detection techniques to identify new and emerging threats. Report findings to stakeholders and assist in the creation of actionable security recommendations. Collaborate with SOC analysts and incident response teams to investigate, remediate, and escalate security incidents. Business development contributions. Required Qualifications Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on policy development, risk analysis, and incident response. Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity regulations. Proficiency with SIEM tools (Elastic) and EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black). Experience doing security design reviews, Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), malware analysis, and reverse engineering tools. Deep understanding of attacker techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating threat detection and response tasks. • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security programs and projects from inception to completion. • Define program metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track effectiveness and present results to senior leadership. • Lead security related projects from conception through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality criteria are met. • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and gap analyses; prioritize remediation efforts based on business impact. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX). • Manage security audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulators. • Oversee, track and drive vulnerability remediation to meet established SLAs.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers. • Participate with the Sales team to provide a strong customer-focused sales, orientation, and launch engagement process. • Develop excellent relationship up to customer’s C-level executives. • Develop a deep understanding of customer’s identity and access governance landscape and business challenges and advise on possible solutions delivered by the Saviynt product. • Develop trusting relationship with customers and executive sponsors to drive product adoption and ensure they achieve full business value. • Partner with internal Saviynt teams to align product development and support activities with the customer's business case and strategy. • Represent the customer in internal prioritization process. • Proactive preparation for important events (go-lives, releases, etc..) • Develop and maintain an accurate account plan / success plan for each customer in the portfolio. • Develop and monitor key performance indicators and review monthly for necessary corrective actions. • Monitor and identify utilization trends, provide recommendations based on risk and customers’ needs. • Plan education for customers on new features and releases. • Manage renewal pipeline including potential at-risk customers to remediate and ensure a successful renewal. • Assist with the management of delivery projects. • Assist with transformation and process improvements across the organization. • Act as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product.
