• Innovate and develop go-to-market monetization strategies inclusive of economic model design • Identify & prioritize opportunities to drive customer value, penetration, & bookings • Understand and advise on implications of decision on overall economic model vision and strategic outcomes • Help prioritize product roadmaps and determine go-to-market monetization strategy for new offerings • Align packaging & pricing with customer value and success • Evolve packaging/pricing models to better align with differing customer needs / value / willingness-to-pay and encourage deeper customer relationships • Optimize price levels based on value/willingness-to-pay, competition, and go-to-market strategy • Advise on improving pricing processes, insights, and performance measurement • Review and advise process foundations to improve governance, execution, market validation, & decision making • Measure and track pricing performance to enable continuous improvements • Team with a diverse cross-functional group of marketing, product and sales experts to bring industry leading solutions to market • Conduct hypothesis-driven analyses to identify and quantify monetization / packaging opportunities • Scope, structure, and execute upon strategic monetization initiatives to accelerate business growth • Build analytical models to inform and influence monetization and economic model strategy • Drive voice of customer interviews and large-scale quantitative customer research • Work with and advise the Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to develop and refine solutions, build consensus, and steer senior-level decision making • Design testing and implementation plans to support global rollout of new packaging and monetization initiatives • Communicate key insights to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders • Extract and synthesize key results and prioritize for communication • Transform findings into actionable recommendations
Job Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in management consulting, and/or business strategy roles
- Experience with pricing or go-to-market strategy in the technology space
- BA/BS Degree
- Highly quantitative and data-driven with experience using hypothesis and data-driven analyses to solve large, complex business problems and quantify business opportunities.
- Leadership skills: Ability to inspire cross-functional partners and drive decision making among senior executives.
- Monetization strategy expertise: Demonstrated experience in monetization strategy and pricing/packaging optimization, preferably in SaaS / Software / Internet businesses
- Marketing strategy skills. Ability to understand customer needs/perceived value, drive customer value creation, and develop go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth.
- Experienced researcher. Expertise with research methodologies and data analytics to support pricing strategies
- Communication skills. Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Commitment: Ability to drive key initiatives to successful outcomes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- This position is remote; with leadership based in the Seattle and San Jose area.
