Fraud Fact Finding cases must be closed out within 24 hours to prevent disallowed cost. All Fact Finding cases will be audited within 30 days of their initial closure and again between 80-90 days of their closure date to ensure all final steps were taken and documented in all appropriate systems to ensure good external audits. JOB FUNCTIONS Benchmark Job x Remote Work Eligible Essential Functions Essential Function Assist Compliance Specialist II will assist with all data entry and case closures. Assist Compliance Specialist I in locating and interviewing suspects. Reviews computation of overpayments resulting from fraudulent act. Analyze and examine a variety of records to secure information concerning suspected violations. Assist Compliance Specialist II gathering, assembling, preserving, and reporting facts, sworn statements or affidavits and other evidence for use in legal actions upon request by TWC. Keep up-to-date written documentation of the overall Workforce Solutions operations. Deals effectively with citizens, Workforce Solutions staff, and public officials under conditions requiring tact and good judgment. Maintains professional working relationship with Workforce Solutions staff, vendors, customers, HoustonGalveston Area Council staff, and Texas Workforce Commissions.
