Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Field Application Engineer, Electronics to join its team. This role is remote and is based in the Dallas, TX or Austin, TX area. Only candidates within these locations will be considered. This exciting opportunity offers hands-on involvement with high-impact OEM customers and advanced power management solutions in computing and other industries. The role combines deep technical engagement, strong customer-facing influence, and contributions to significant regional business growth. What you’ll do: This job is mainly to provide customer application and technical support, design assistance for ELXD full product lines in Texas mainly focus on service computing OEMs incl Dell, AMD, AWS(machine learning), HPE, HPI, Meta, IFX and TI. The job requires frequent travel to various locations, collaborate with customers for product/project designing and developing. Visiting customer together with sales to help on technical discussion regularly; Especially be able to take care of the trouble shooting for key accounts. Job Responsibilities Provide application support to OEMs mainly located in Texas. Design assistance includes system analysis and proposal, product selection, layout, technical comparison, elevation drawings, configuration, etc. Effectively translate customer needs to commercial & R&D team to facilitate product design and specification to improve NBO successful rate. Deliver training programs to customers and channel partners, on product technology, including product technology, applications, regular product road map update etc. Gather customer feedback and provide input to product management in an effort to improve product acceptance in the marketplace and drive roadmap development. Work with marketing and sales teams to identify new opportunities and be a key contributor to achieve/exceed NBO pipeline target Prepare technical literatures, application notes, technical sales tools, training material etc. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution • Minimum 5 years of field application experience in the electronics industry • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role.
