Job Description: We’re looking for a strategic and execution-focused Director of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing function. In this role, you’ll define how Pluralsight brings our solution portfolio to market, articulates value to customers, and drives adoption and growth across our platform. You’ll partner closely with Product, Revenue, and Growth teams to shape positioning and messaging that shapes Pluralsight as the world leader in Workforce Skills Intelligence. What you’ll do: Solution Positioning, Messaging, & Packaging - Own and evolve Pluralsight’s product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across key audiences (enterprise, tech teams, and individual learners) - Define and refine pricing and packaging strategies that align to customer segments, willingness to pay, and market dynamics - Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives - Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints Go-to-Market Strategy & Solution Launches - Lead go-to-market planning for new product / solution launches and major releases - Define launch strategies, segmentation, pricing/packaging inputs, and success metrics - Partner with Product to influence roadmap innovation based on market insights and customer needs - Collaborate with Demand Gen and Growth teams to drive pipeline, conversion, and adoption Sales & Customer Enablement - Build and scale sales enablement programs, including pitch decks, battlecards, and competitive positioning - Equip Sales and Customer Success teams with the tools and messaging needed to win and expand accounts Customer & Market Insights - Develop deep understanding of target personas, industries, and competitive landscape - Leverage data, research, and customer feedback to inform strategy and messaging - Act as the voice of the customer internally Leadership & Team Development - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team - Establish Ways of Working processes, strategic launch frameworks, and metrics for excellence - Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across the organization What Success Looks Like (KPIs) - Ensure on-time, high-quality launches with clear cross-functional alignment - Increase attach rates and expansion ARR for new solutions across the Portfolio - Drive pipeline contribution targets tied to key solution launches - Improve sales readiness scores and reduce ramp time for new product messaging - Build a scalable PMM function with clear launch frameworks and repeatable GTM processes - Grow and retain top talent within the PMM team Experience you’ll bring: - Proven leadership experience: leading product marketing teams, successful solution launches, and scaling GTM strategies - Turnaround Experience: Proven track record of navigating complex organizational pivots - Experience owning or partnering on Analyst Relations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) to shape market perception and influence category positioning - Refined B2B Product Marketing skills: exceptional storytelling and communication skills; deep understanding of enterprise buyers and technical audiences; and, the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels Requirements: - B2B SaaS Mastery: 8-10+ years in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, learning platforms, or developer-focused products - This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
