Our support engineers are in a unique position to help our partners and customers solve challenging issues since they intimately understand cloud application architecture and complex integration issues. Boomi’s partners and customers are integrating some of the most innovative applications today. Role The Managed Services and Support Engineer works to monitor, resolve issues, and support our customers’ mission critical business integrations and processes. He works directly with customers and consulting teams to maintain their technical solutions within the Boomi platform. Location - Hyderabad Responsibilities: - Monitor customer integration processes and identify abnormal conditions, such as network connectivity, data quality, runtime and infrastructure issues, and performance challenges related to sub-optimal process design. - Triage issues between process/application and runtime/infrastructure issues and understand linkages between capacity, performance, load, etc. - Classify new errors via Known Error dictionary. - Troubleshoot the issue and provide remediation recommendations (if applicable), and possibly coordinate with the customer and other internal Boomi teams. - Where possible and mutually agreed, resolve data-related errors, application connectivity and configuration issues on behalf of the customer. - Where possible, implement break/fix type changes to resume normal operations as quickly as possible. - Upon customer's request, perform account administration, some training and technical support for customers on the Boom Platform and the Managed Service program. - A passion to solve customer problems using your technical prowess and refined communication skills to help address customers’ business requirements using our platform - Maintain relationship with managed services customers - Ability to work earlier or later shifts. To start with its 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM IST. - Flexible to work Saturday and Sunday on need basis. - 5+ years of relevant IT experience and at least two years of working experience in Boomi or other integration tools. - Candidate must have a strong customer orientation, excellent phone etiquette and an excellent work ethic to meet staffing attendance requirements - Candidate should also possess excellent communications skills and be in position to work under pressure with calmness and composure - Work directly with customers and consulting teams to maintain their technical solutions with the Boom platform Essential Requirements - A passion to solve customer problems using your technical prowess and refined communication skills to help address customers’ business requirements using our platform. - Possess Boomi Professional Integration Developer & preferably Administration certifications. - Motivated individuals who enjoy a fast-paced work environment and understands that the SaaS culture requires creativity, collaboration, fast decision making and a sense of urgency. - Having experience with any of the following would support your success with working with our platform. - EDI data standards, such as X12/EDIFACT and communication protocols such as AS2, OFTP and SFTP. - Database technologies (MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL, etc.). - Common data formats, such as JSON, XML, Flat Files. - API standards such as REST, SOAP and GraphQL. - High level understanding of network and security concepts, including authentication/authorization schemes, common vulnerabilities, etc. - High level understanding of common communication protocols, including HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, JDBC, WebServices, etc. - Experienced in scripting, specifically using Groovy, Javascript and Python. - Experienced in Java development and Java Runtime Environment mechanics. Role Description The project you will work on focuses on modernizing a large-scale logistics system that covers the entire lifecycle of a shipment – from its receipt, through assignment to a customer, order and route, to delivery. The system also includes functions such as generating invoices and overview reports.
