Responsibilities The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for the safety, quality, scheduling, and overall management of field crews, vehicles, tools, equipment, and related subcontractor/vendor resources within a Market. In addition, you will: - Supports the attainment of the Markets Program Management Plans: safety, quality, financials, production, schedule, inventory, resource, and customer satisfaction objectives - Responsible for field crews, vehicles, tools, equipment, and related subcontractor/vendor resources - Ensures field internal/external crews are trained, outfitted, and available - Manages and reports costs in order to provide accurate financial data - Manages and coordinates professional, technical, and non-technical staff by establishing performance measures, goals, objectives, and priorities, providing direction and feedback, and ensuring assigned projects/tasks are completed accurately and by the specified due date - Prepares regular internal/external progress, project status, and problem resolution reports - Manages relationships with vendors and contractors that are supporting field construction activities - Management of vehicles, tools, and equipment - Evaluates overall and individual work performance of crew staff to determine effectiveness in providing quality products within time and cost restraints - Monitors time and dollar expenditures to meet established targets - Other duties as assigned Qualifications About You: - Minimum of 7+ years of related leadership experience within the telecommunications/construction industry - Strong leadership and program management skills - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal skills - Management, establishment, and communication of clear goals and objectives - Have job-related certifications like First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment - Organizational, computer, and communication skills - Must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW - Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with the company's motor vehicle policy - Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency - Ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures - Must be fit and in good physical condition - Must have the ability to climb towers, and be able to pick up 50 lbs Hard work pays off.
