Role Description The Sales Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the Omnicell Sales Development Team, embodying the Elevate principles of Collaboration, Impact, Inspire, Execute, and Develop. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of the team, this role collaborates closely with Sales Managers and VP’s to enhance productivity, drive revenue growth, and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Collaboration (30%): - Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to achieve financial outcomes and operational excellence. - Impact (30%): - Lead the Sales Development team in executing field sales development programs to drive revenue growth and customer engagement. - Coach and mentor team members to achieve individual and team performance objectives, preparing them for future field sales roles. - Inspire (20%): - Provide leadership and individual development to the team, emphasizing continuous improvement and readiness for field sales responsibilities. - Present team performance and programs, inspiring colleagues with insights and initiatives. - Execute (20%): - Manage the day-to-day activities of the Sales Development team. - Accurately forecast sales opportunities, track performance metrics, and analyze sales trends to drive strategic decision-making. Qualifications - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative, with strong business acumen. - Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. - Proficiency in resource utilization, attention to detail, and CRM experience. - Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree. - 2 years of business experience in sales effectiveness operations, including sales forecasting and CRM management. - Direct or indirect experience in managing or coaching/mentoring employees. Preferred Skills - Experience in quota-carrying roles in capital equipment or healthcare sales. - Knowledge of Omnicell business processes and products. - Certification in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP). Working Conditions - Environment: Field-based role with home office environment. - Travel: Yes, 50% travel required to customer sites, conferences and Omnicell locations. - Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, and keyboard use.
