Contract Type: Full time, External Consultant. Location: South Africa- Remote. JOB OVERVIEWThe Student Enrolment Advisor (SEA) is the primary owner of the student journey from Lead to Arrival. This role is responsible for driving demand conversion, optimising enrolment outcomes, and scaling revenue growth across African markets while maintaining a high-quality student experience and strong compliance standards. SEAs operate with end-to-end ownership of their student pipelines and play a critical role in converting demand into confirmed student arrivals. Scope & Ownership: • End-to-end ownership of the student journey: Lead → Arrival ABOUT THE ROLEDemand Conversion & Sales Execution - Manage inbound and outbound leads across African markets through the full recruitment funnel - Deliver needs-based advising, including course and institution matching aligned to local market realities - Convert enquiries into applications, offers, confirmed acceptances, and arrivals - Meet or exceed targets across conversion, applications, confirmations, and arrivals Student Journey Ownership - Own the student relationship from initial engagement through arrival - Guide students through application, offer, and confirmation processes with clarity and confidence - Maintain momentum throughout the journey to minimise attrition, deferrals, and drop-offs Compliance & Quality - Ensure accuracy and consistency of information shared with students and partners - Maintain integrity and completeness of student documentation - Identify early indicators of complexity, risk, or compliance issues specific to African markets - Adhere to established playbooks, SLAs, and regulatory guidance Pipeline & Performance Management - Maintain accurate, timely, and complete CRM records (e.g. Salesforce) - Actively manage pipeline health, lead ageing, and prioritisation - Forecast volumes and outcomes based on market demand and pipeline signals - Use performance data to improve efficiency and conversion outcomes Stakeholder Collaboration - Align closely with Regional Leads on African market priorities and execution cadence - Collaborate to improve lead quality, market messaging, and conversion effectiveness - Partner with Admissions and Compliance teams to resolve student issues quickly and effectively Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Lead → Arrival conversion rate - Enrollment volume and quality - Student satisfaction and experience outcomes ABOUT YOU Required Experience & Capabilities - 5+ years demonstrable experience in sales, enrollment, recruitment, or customer conversion roles - Strong understanding of African student markets, including regional nuances, demand drivers, and decision-making behaviours - Proven ability to manage high-volume, complex pipelines with multiple stakeholders - Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on outcomes and performance - High attention to detail with strong process discipline - Confident operating in structured, targets-driven environments - CRM proficiency (e.g. Salesforce) Desirable Experience - Experience working with students, customers, or partners across multiple African countries - Background in international education, regulated sales, or advisory-led conversion environments - Familiarity with university admissions processes and student visa considerations - Experience using performance analytics, reporting, and forecasting to drive results Behavioural Competencies - Results-driven with strong ownership and accountability - Customer-centric with sound commercial judgement - Comfortable balancing student experience with revenue and conversion targets - Collaborative, disciplined, and data-oriented - Resilient and adaptable in fast-moving, performance-led environments ABOUT US Study Group is a leading international education provider that is dedicated and passionate about helping students around the world, creating a brighter future and reaching their full potential.
