itD is seeking a Data Engineer IV to build and scale high-performance data infrastructure that powers advanced marketing science and advertising insights. This role is critical in enabling real-time data processing and delivering actionable insights that optimize advertising performance across large-scale ecosystems. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data engineering and a proven track record of delivering scalable data pipelines and high-quality data solutions that support millions of users and business-critical decisions. Responsibilities - Develop and optimize real-time data pipelines from existing data sources to support marketing and analytics use cases - Design and structure large-scale datasets to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability - Build and maintain data tables that support multiple marketing signals across millions of users and advertisers - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to productionize data signals and incorporate feedback quickly - Serve as a subject matter expert for data engineering within marketing science initiatives - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and minimal errors across pipelines and datasets - Drive improvements in data processing efficiency and system performance Internal Responsibilities - Attend regular internal practice community meetings - Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership - Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material) - Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice - Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual) - Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities Required Qualifications and Skills - 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field - Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure - Proficiency in Python and SQL - Experience working with large-scale datasets (millions of rows) - Strong expertise in data modeling, data structuring, and performance optimization - Experience developing real-time or near real-time data processing systems Preferred Qualifications and Skills - Experience with customer lifecycle management or CRM data - Background in marketing data, advertising analytics, or marketing science - Experience working in large-scale tech environments - Familiarity with building data tables for campaign or performance tracking Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field required Company Description About itD: We are part of a new generation of consulting and software development company that blends diversity, innovation, and integrity with real business results. A Course Associate is a part-time instructional role that supports a Lecturer in teaching and course facilitation. Serving as a Course Associate is an excellent opportunity to bolster teaching skills while building a relationship with Columbia University. The MS in Biodiversity Data Analytics prepares professionals to apply advanced data analytics and systems thinking to biodiversity conservation, environmental management, and nature-related decision-making across policy, finance, conservation, and industry. The program integrates ecological science with geospatial analysis, statistical modeling, and applied analytics and is delivered fully online. The program will hire multiple Associates, across two online course sections: - Graduate Seminar in Conservation Biology- Wednesdays 6:10-8:00pm - Intro Statistics Ecology & Evolutionary Biology - Tuesdays 6:10-8:00pm Course descriptions for both courses can be found here.
