BIM Modeler – Architectural, Revit Specialist

Pear Tree.

• Support the production of high-quality, coordinated architectural documentation for residential and commercial construction projects in New Zealand • Develop detailed Revit models and produce accurate, council-ready drawing sets • Convert concept designs into fully detailed working drawings using Revit • Produce complete drawing sets including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details • Ensure outputs are accurate, well-coordinated, and ready for construction and consent submission • Ensure all documentation complies with NZS 3604 and NZ Building Code requirements • Deliver complete drawing packages within tight turnaround timelines • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in architectural drafting or BIM production (NZ residential experience preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (essential)
  • Solid understanding of NZS 3604, NZ Building Code, and consent documentation processes
  • Ability to independently produce accurate, coordinated, and buildable drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
  • Experience working with builders, developers, or design-and-build companies
  • Understanding of cost-efficient design and practical buildability considerations
  • Previous experience in offshore, remote, or contract-based BIM roles
  • Exposure to multi-disciplinary coordination environments (architectural + structural + MEP)

Target Salary Range $39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
