Job Description
Product Manager, Developer Offerings
Boomi
About Boomi and What Makes Us Special Are you ready to work at a fast-growing company where you can make a difference? Boomi aims to make the world a better place by connecting everyone to everything, anywhere. Our award-winning, intelligent integration and automation platform helps organizations power the future of business. At Boomi, you’ll work with world-class people and industry-leading technology. We hire trailblazers with an entrepreneurial spirit who can solve challenging problems, make a real impact, and want to be part of building something big. If this sounds like a good fit for you, check out boomi.com or visit our Boomi Careers page to learn more. How You’ll Make An Impact Join the Boomi Innovation Group—a CTO-led team within Boomi’s Product & Technology organization—as the dedicated Product Manager for a brand-new portfolio of developer offerings built on the Boomi platform. You’ll own three foundational products: an agentic engineering harness that enables developers to rapidly build Boomi solutions using AI-powered coding tools like Claude Code; an embeddable SDK for integrating Boomi capabilities directly into web applications; and a connector development tool paired with a growing open source connector library. This is an early-stage, high-visibility role for a technically fluent PM who thrives in ambiguity, brings genuine empathy for developer users, and wants to shape a product category from the ground up. What You’ll Do ■ Own the product roadmap across all developer offerings, with a major focus initially on the launch and growth of the Agentic Engineering Harness, balancing near-term delivery with long-term strategic positioning. ■ Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; partner with engineering through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management to ship high-quality products on time. ■ Conduct ongoing developer research through interviews, usage data analysis, and community engagement to surface unmet needs and validate product decisions. ■ Collaborate with Developer Relations to build momentum around the open source connector library, run beta programs, and establish direct feedback loops with the developer community. ■ Define and track success metrics for each product (activation, adoption, developer satisfaction) and bring data-driven insights to Innovation Group and P&T leadership. The Experience You Bring ■ 2–5 years of product management experience, with at least 1 year on developer-facing products, APIs, SDKs, or integration/platform technologies. ■ Working knowledge of software development concepts, REST APIs, and modern integration patterns (webhooks, event-driven architecture, etc.). ■ Ability to write crisp, well-scoped product requirements and work effectively within agile development teams. ■ Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business context for engineering teams. ■ Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent workstreams and make disciplined trade-off decisions. Bonus Points If You Have ■ Hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor. ■ Background in integration platforms (iPaaS), embedded SDKs, or white-label platform products. ■ Experience with open source product strategy—community building, contribution models, or developer advocacy. ■ Familiarity with connector or adapter development, or API management tools. ■ Prior software engineering experience. Aren’t sure if you’re a match? We know that impostor syndrome and the confidence gap can prevent us from meeting spectacular candidates — so don’t hesitate to apply; you could be the perfect fit! Compensation and Benefits Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our Vancouver hub ranges from $140,419 - $175,524 CAD annually + applicable bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Be Bold. Be You. Be Boomi.
