Amentum is a leading provider of scientific, engineering, and program management support services to some of the top agencies in the U.S. Government, including the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), NASA, the Department of Homeland Security, and the intelligence community. Amentum is currently seeking a DARPA Program Management / Financial Analyst to support new and ongoing DARPA R&D programs. This is a full-time position based in Arlington, VA with the opportunity for remote work. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Serve as a business and financial manager support contractor to DARPA Program Managers, DARPA leadership, and performers. - Prepare program expenditure plans. - Manage and monitor program budget execution. - Prepare DARPA budget execution documentation including Purchase Requests (PRs), Military Inter-Departmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) Justifications, and 7600 Statements of Work (SOW). - Perform analyses of commitments, obligations, and expenditures performance. - Prepare financial information for briefings, presentations, and status reports. - Provide program management support. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience. - Experience with DoD financial system(s) and processes. - Experience in relevant financial management of commercial or defense-related technology research and/or development programs. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a rapidly evolving environment. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government TS/SCI Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. Desired Qualifications: - Experience with DARPA programs highly desirable. - Military and/or defense program support experience. - Experience with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system. - Military experience. - Ability to quickly identify and resolve program execution risks, mitigations, and issues. - Candidates should be self-starters capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Compensation Details: $170K-190K The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
