The Mission We are seeking an exceptional Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing Cloud Native Applications team. The right candidate is someone who has deep expertise in developing applications and is passionate about working with our customers, partners, and colleagues to drive innovation forward. Your mission will be to work alongside Caylent’s Architects, Engineering Managers, and Engineers to deliver AWS solutions across our diverse and forward-thinking customer base. You’ll work with the latest technologies and support customers looking to bring cutting-edge ideas to market. Your Assignment - You will be a mission specialist, rocketing Customers forward as you participate in development activities, standups, sprint planning retrospectives, and more. - You will demonstrate Caylent's commitment to being an Exceptional Partner by delivering well-documented, tested, and production-ready code to our customers while diving deep into any problems that may arise across their environments. - You will Lead By Example, using your expertise in frontend development to deliver solutions defined by the Design team and led by your Architect, and coach less-experienced developers as your team builds together. - You will demonstrate a passion to Stay Curious as you mentor peers, tackle new technologies, and learn from our word-class team of engineers. Communication - Effectively communicates technical information clearly and actively listens to clients and team members to confirm understanding and prevent miscommunication. Technical Qualifications - In depth experience developing with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Next.JS, Typescript, Angular - In-depth experience building and styling components custom or utilizing frameworks such as TailwindCSS, ShadCN, MUI, GatsbyJS - Experience collaborating closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished, accessible, and performant front-end experiences. - Ability to contribute to early design conversations, offering engineering insights to ensure that design visions are both feasible and scalable in implementation. - Experience using Figma’s Dev Mode to inspect designs, gather specs, access assets, and ensure pixel-perfect implementation aligned with UX intent. - Ability to design and implement micro animations that enhance user experience, communicate state changes, guide user attention, and add personality to the interface without detracting from usability. - Demonstrated experience in consuming RESTful services and API integrations. - Understanding of frontend design patterns such as SPA, MVC, etc. - Understanding of CSS variables and the process of creating scalable systems - Proven ability to learn new technology quickly and effectively. - Desire to integrate innovative technologies into development workflow - Experience with Generative AI technologies both in accelerating personal productivity (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub CoPilot, etc) and integrating AI features into a front-end - Experience participating in a developer git workflow include branching, merging, and deploying front-end code to AWS - Self-organizing, detail-oriented, and high achieving. - Ability to work independently. - Excellent written and verbal communication.
