The Scrum Master will support agile delivery for the ITA AI Center of Excellence by enabling high-performing development teams and ensuring adherence to Scrum and SAFe Agile principles. This role focuses on facilitation, coordination, continuous improvement, and delivery predictability. *This position is contingent upon contract award.* Responsibilities - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. - Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions. - Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles and practices. - Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritization. - Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Coordinate with stakeholders and other delivery teams. - Track and report team performance metrics. - Support integration of Agile practices across programs. - Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship (required). - Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher background investigation. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum five (5) years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator. - Strong facilitation and communication skills. - Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments. Desired Qualifications - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master). - Experience supporting federal IT programs. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools. - Experience working with AI or software development teams.
