Peoplesoft Developer – Global Payroll

• Develop and test the PeopleSoft Global Payroll rules engine • Update/modify existing extensions or tailored software • Design, develop, and maintain customizations and enhancements across a variety of PeopleSoft modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Financials (AP, AR, GL), and Campus Solutions. • Develop and support complex components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and Event Mapping. • Strong experience with SQL, SQR, PS/Query, BI Publisher, and web services. • Support integrations with third-party and legacy systems using REST/SOAP Web Services, file-based integrations, and middleware tools. • Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, data integrity problems, and system bugs across multiple modules. • Apply security best practices, manage user roles/permissions, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards (HIPAA, FISMA, etc.). • Support batch scheduling, job streams, and workflow automation using Application Engine, Process Scheduler, and PeopleSoft Workflows. • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, change control artifacts, and deployment packages.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Security+ Certification or IAT Level 2 certification.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of PeopleSoft development experience across HCM, Financials, and/or Campus Solutions.
  • Expert-level experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
  • Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft security, performance tuning, and management changes.
  • Proven ability to lead development tasks, mentor team members, and collaborate with functional and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and accessibility compliance.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS-hosted PeopleSoft environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as a technical lead within a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

What this job can offer you The Payroll Specialist Lead - Poland is a critical role within Remote’s dynamic global payroll organization. Nestled within our EOR and Payroll Operations Team, this role is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll operations within assigned countries while also contributing to the improvement and scalability of our global payroll processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Payroll Operations, Tax, Finance, Product and Customer Success, while coordinating with diverse payroll partners where applicable. This role is well suited for a mid-to-senior career payroll ops professional who has deep hands-on experience running payroll in complex environments and is comfortable operating in globally distributed teams.
