Solutions Engineering Manager

Redwood Logistics

• Collaborate with clients and prospects to gather and analyze data, using the results to create and present compelling, cost-effective solutions. • Develop and maintain client and prospect analytics infrastructure through Tableau, MG Edge, Excel, and OTM. • Using your Supply Chain and Transportation knowledge, look for opportunities to optimize solutions for our customers. • Ability to review data and determine gaps, questions and actions needed, including facilitating those actions with internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct ah-hoc analysis and provide decision support for client projects. • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing of engineering solutions and savings projects from the pre-sales process to client onboarding and ensure team adheres to best practices. • Stay up to date on the latest technological trends and identify opportunities to enhance our solutions. • Will need to occasionally respond to customer requests after primary work hours (nights and weekends) and/or work on a weekend when customers needs require support. • Foster team growth, team development, cross-team collaboration by setting an example of leading in challenging times, leading others outside of your primary team in times of need, and fostering a true team environment of helping others

Job Requirements

  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish; proficient level for verbal and written communication
  • Bachelors degree, passion for technology, and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Full understanding of transportation modes (small parcel, LTL, TL, partial, flatbed, intermodal) and market trends.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Analytics including client-facing engagement, solution design, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex technical and supply chain solutions for enterprise clients with deep technical expertise in BI tools, network design tools, and load building/optimization engines.
  • Exceptional client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of work product, creating results that drive accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • History of proven customer service and communication skills
  • History of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
