This position involves extensive travel and hands-on IT support. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and imaging, with a willingness to travel nationwide for approximately three weeks each month for the duration of the contract. Key Responsibilities - Assist information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects. - Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions. - Interact with customers to understand the business environment and technical requirements. - Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. - Collect, identify, and organize detailed user and IT requirements. - Participate in IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. - Prepare system documentation and establish security and integrity controls. - Analyze and resolve business or technical problems using appropriate tools. Required Qualifications Experience: 2-3 years of IT experience with an emphasis on troubleshooting and imaging. Certifications: Security+ certification is required. Must also possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and an Operating System (OS)/Application certification. Clearance: Must possess an active DOD Secret clearance. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, plus a Service Contract Act (SCA) rate of $5.09 per hour.
