Keep IT Simple
• Ownership and advancement of the security posture for AI-powered products, platforms, and infrastructure. • Operate at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, defending against novel AI-specific threats while enabling engineering teams to deliver AI features quickly and securely. • Cover the entire AI security lifecycle: from threat modeling of LLM integrations and designing guardrails against prompt injection, to protecting model supply chains, hardening RAG pipelines, and building automated security tools that scale with our AI platform.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or security engineering, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML security.
- Deep understanding of LLM security risks: prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage, unsafe output manipulation, and supply-chain vulnerabilities (OWASP LLM Top 10).
- Experience protecting AI/ML systems in production — including model serving, RAG pipelines, agentive AI, and API orchestration interfaces.
- Strong software engineering skills in Python and at least one of: Go, TypeScript, Rust, or Java.
- Experience with cloud-native security on AWS, Azure, or GCP — including IAM, network security, encryption, and secrets management.
- Proficiency with security tools: SAST, DAST, SCA, SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, Datadog Security), and vulnerability management platforms.
- Expertise in authentication/authorization systems: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust architecture principles.
- Strong understanding of secure SDLC, DevSecOps practices, and a shift-left security culture.
- Excellent communication skills — ability to articulate complex AI security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in international projects, including collaboration with global, multicultural teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Mission: In this role, the FSO will support facility and personnel clearance processing and management, visit certifications, and security education and training. The FSO will need a thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eApp, NISS, NBIS, ACCS , SWFT, and Scattered Castles. In addition, they will be responsible for implementing and providing guidance to customers and management on security issues such as security education, insider threat, security investigations, and personnel clearances. The FSO will also serve as the Insider Threat Senior Official. This is a part-time, fully remote position and will require approximately ~15-20 hours/week of support.
