What you’ll do: - Lead the evolution of Redis’ global pricing and packaging strategy across cloud and self-managed offerings to accelerate growth and improve monetization. - Partner closely with Product to design pricing and packaging for new product launches, ensuring monetization is embedded early in the product lifecycle. - Drive pricing optimization initiatives, including usage-based models, discount policies, and expansion levers to maximize ARR and long-term customer value. - Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Finance to establish scalable pricing guardrails and policies that empower the field while protecting margin and consistency. - Own the strategy and development of pricing calculators with Product Marketing to support both self-serve and sales-led motions. - Use data-driven insights, experimentation, and competitive analysis to continuously refine pricing strategy and packaging structure. What will you need to have? - 10+ years of experience in pricing, monetization, strategy, or revenue operations in B2B SaaS, cloud, or infrastructure businesses. - Demonstrated success leading pricing and packaging strategy for complex product portfolios, ideally including usage-based or consumption models. - Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience partnering deeply with Product and influencing senior stakeholders. - Analytical rigor with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable pricing strategies. - Experience collaborating with Sales organizations on pricing policies, discounting frameworks, and deal optimization. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to align executives and drive decisions in ambiguous environments. Extra great if you have: - Experience in developer tools, infrastructure software, open-source, or data platforms. - Prior ownership of pricing calculators or self-serve pricing experiences. - Experience scaling pricing strategy in a high-growth, multi-product environment. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis’ total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Opportunity Summary As a member of our collaborative Pricing team, the Pricing Analyst will be responsible for cost and price analysis, capture and preproposal pricing and strategy, and developing proposal pricing for new government contracts in response to client request for proposals (RFPs). As a trusted business partner, it will be important to work closely with the Growth Office, Technical leaders, Contracts Office and Proposal Management to develop detailed proposal budgets for submission to clients. This will include reviewing RFPs, posing pricing questions and creating a timely, compliant, competitive, and accurate pricing solutions for the proposal budget. This role will prepare budget templates for different contract types (T&M, FFP, CPFF, IDIQs). Leads medium to large sized proposal efforts and supports the team on the most complex efforts with opportunities to grow levels of responsibility. Core Responsibilities - Ensure scheduling of pricing kickoffs and reviews for bids. Prepare lime and green team budget review agendas to effectively lead facilitation of meetings. - Review and analyze RFP for proposal budget and business volume requirements. Gather price related clarification questions from client. - Develop accurate internal costing and client pricing for submission and create analysis and price strategy for different contract types (T&M, FFP, CPFF, IDIQ). - Work with proposal teams to document Basis of Estimate (BOEs), analyze P&L and develop risk contingencies. - Document proper approvals, files, folders, and databases with pricing information by following existing processes while also initiating recommendations and improvements to current processes. - Review subcontractor documentation and budgets with focus on strategy of subcontractor pricing options. - QC and review bids when appropriate. - Collaborate with internal departments (HR, Finance, Contracts, Subcontracts, Price to Win, Technical staff, Government Audit and Compliance) as necessary to identify any potential risks with Abt policies and operations as well as to ensure receipt of most recent information. - Determine financial analysis, labor hour average rates, pricing scenarios to drive appropriate decisions on competitive pricing strategy and profitability. - Support Pricing Director with Price to Win targets and strategies to meet targets. - Communicate financial and contractual information professionally and effectively with staff at different levels of the organization. - At times support the business volume development for proposal submission.
