Account Executive

Social Scout

About Social Scout Social Scout is a performance-driven email marketing agency helping DTC eCommerce brands turn their email lists into consistent revenue machines. We build, manage, and optimize email strategies that increase customer retention and conversions through well-crafted campaigns, flows, and A/B testing. Our work is data-driven, creative, and always aligned with each brand's voice and vision. We've partnered with 280+ brands across a variety of industries, and we're growing fast. We're looking for an Account Executive who's ready to own client relationships, drive strategy, and deliver results from day one. Compensation & Role Details - Highly competitive salary. - Full-time (40 hours per week) and fully remote. - You must be set up and hired as a contractor. - Fluent English required (written and spoken). - Available 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with flexibility of ±1–2 hours. The Role As an Account Executive at Social Scout, you'll be the main point of contact for 5–8 clients and oversee the full execution of email marketing strategy across campaigns, flows, and pop-ups. You'll own the relationship, the strategy, and the results. You'll work alongside our designers, Klaviyo technicians, and co-founders to ensure every brand you manage is performing at its best. This is not a "set it and forget it" role. You'll be actively testing, optimizing, and pushing for better results across every account you touch. What You'll Be Doing - Client Communication. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, communicating daily through Slack, Outlook, Loom, and Zoom. This includes approving designs, providing progress updates, and fielding questions. Your clients should always feel informed, supported, and confident in the work being done. - Email Strategy & Planning. You'll build and execute email strategy inside Klaviyo. This includes delivering 30-day campaign calendars each month, developing flow strategies, running ongoing A/B tests, and optimizing pop-up forms. Testing is a critical part of this role. We are always looking for ways to improve performance. - Design Coordination. You'll work closely with our graphic designers to brief, coordinate, and review email campaign and flow designs, ensuring every send is on-brand and conversion-ready. - Klaviyo Implementation. You'll quality check and schedule campaigns, and collaborate with our Klaviyo technicians to build out emails accurately and on time. - Copywriting. You'll write high-converting email copy using AI tools, adapting tone and messaging to suit each brand's audience and voice. - Reporting & KPIs. You'll track performance at every level. This includes near-daily updates to clients, monthly account reports, and quarterly performance reviews. What You Bring - 2+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience building flows, campaigns, and segments across multiple eCommerce brands. - Direct experience managing 5+ client accounts, ideally in an agency or freelance setting. - Strong email copywriting skills with the ability to write and edit short-form copy that converts across both text and image based formats. - Deep knowledge of core email flows including Welcome, Cart Abandon, Browse Abandon, Post-Purchase, and Winback. - Confidence in A/B testing, running strategic tests on subject lines, send times, content, and creative. - Solid grasp of segmentation and deliverability. You know how to keep open rates high and emails out of spam. - Comfortable reviewing designs in Figma and giving clear, constructive feedback to designers. - Organized and reliable. You can juggle multiple deadlines across multiple brands without dropping the ball. Who You Are - A communicator first. This is a client-facing role, and communication is the single most important thing to the brands we work with. You are personable, friendly, responsive, and on top of every message across Slack and Outlook. Clients never have to chase you. - A creative problem solver. You don't just follow instructions. You think critically about what will drive results and you're constantly testing new angles, new approaches, and new ideas to impress clients and push performance forward. - Detail-obsessed. You will be sending campaigns to 100K+ recipients at a time. Every link, every subject line, every piece of copy must be flawless. Proofreading and quality control are non-negotiable. We cannot afford errors. - Marketing-intuitive. You understand the ideal customer behind each brand and can make smart decisions around email frequency, pop-up strategy, design direction, and messaging based on that understanding. Why Social Scout? - Ongoing training and education in email marketing strategy and execution. - Mentorship from proven marketers who have generated over $20M in email revenue. - Opportunities to grow into senior strategist or team lead roles. - Internal access to email templates, A/B testing frameworks, and optimization SOPs. - A fast-moving, supportive team with regular wins to celebrate. If you're a strategic, detail-driven email marketer who thrives on client relationships and wants to do career-defining work inside a team that actually values it, we'd love to hear from you.
