Role Description As a Klaviyo Technician at Social Scout, you will be responsible for the technical execution that powers world-class email marketing programs. You will: - Build and launch high-performing Klaviyo flows (Welcome, Cart/Browse Abandon, Post-Purchase, Winback, Sunset). - Implement accurate flow logic (triggers, filters, splits, timing, exclusions, suppression). - Set up campaigns in Klaviyo and complete final pre-send QA (links, targeting, tracking, personalization). - Implement templates/modules in Klaviyo to support fast, consistent email production. - Configure and validate integrations (Shopify and other tools like Recharge/Skio, Gorgias, SMS platforms as applicable). - Ensure tracking, events, and product/catalog data are syncing correctly for segmentation and automation. - Troubleshoot technical issues quickly (broken personalization, incorrect triggers, rendering, feed issues). - Maintain clean documentation and follow SOPs so builds are repeatable, scalable, and error-free. Qualifications - 2+ years of hands-on Klaviyo implementation experience, ideally across multiple eCommerce brands. - Strong understanding of flow logic (triggers, filters, splits, delays, exclusions). - Comfortable working with Shopify + Klaviyo data, events, and customer properties. - Experience building/working with templates (drag-and-drop and/or HTML). - High attention to detail, strong QA habits, and ability to catch mistakes before launch. - Ability to work fast without sacrificing build quality. - Clear written communication (you can explain what you built, what’s missing, and what’s blocking). - Agency experience is a plus, or comfort juggling multiple accounts simultaneously. The Role You'll be designing 6–8 high-quality email campaigns per day across multiple brands, each one unique, on-brand, and built to perform. This isn't production-line template work. We're looking for a Flow Specialist to lead and execute high-volume email flow buildouts across a wide range of eCommerce brands. The Role This role sits at the center of strategy, execution, and client experience for Social Scout's one-time flow buildout offer, which includes a standardized set of 23 emails across six core flows. You won't be managing a small book of long-term accounts. Instead, you'll work with a high volume of brands on a clearly defined scope, owning flow strategy and delivery while managing an internal team to execute efficiently and at a high standard. Clients range from early-stage brands with zero existing flows to large, established brands looking to significantly improve performance. You will see a wide variety of industries, list sizes, and levels of sophistication. The six core flows you'll be building across every engagement are Welcome, Abandoned Site, Abandoned Browse, Abandoned Cart, Abandoned Checkout, and Post-Purchase. What You'll Be Doing - You will own the strategy for each client's flow buildout based on their brand, audience, and existing setup as well as write all email copy across the six core flows. - Lead and manage a team of three or more designers and Klaviyo builders. - Oversee project timelines end to end and ensure every buildout is delivered on schedule. - Lead one to two onboarding calls per day, setting the tone for the entire engagement and act as the primary point of contact throughout the flow buildout process. - Present strategy and creative direction to clients with confidence and clarity and manage client feedback and approvals efficiently to keep projects moving. - Identify high-potential flow clients who are strong candidates for full-service Klaviyo account management. What You Bring - Strong understanding of email marketing and lifecycle flows, particularly within eCommerce. - Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and flow-based strategy across multiple brands. - Excellent copywriting instincts. You know how to write short-form email copy that converts and matches a brand's voice. - Proven ability to manage designers and technical builders. The Role As an Account Executive at Social Scout, you'll be the main point of contact for 5–8 clients and oversee the full execution of email marketing strategy across campaigns, flows, and pop-ups. You'll own the relationship, the strategy, and the results. You'll work alongside our designers, Klaviyo technicians, and co-founders to ensure every brand you manage is performing at its best. This is not a "set it and forget it" role. You'll be actively testing, optimizing, and pushing for better results across every account you touch. What You'll Be Doing - Client Communication. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, communicating daily through Slack, Outlook, Loom, and Zoom. This includes approving designs, providing progress updates, and fielding questions. Your clients should always feel informed, supported, and confident in the work being done. - Email Strategy & Planning. You'll build and execute email strategy inside Klaviyo. This includes delivering 30-day campaign calendars each month, developing flow strategies, running ongoing A/B tests, and optimizing pop-up forms. Testing is a critical part of this role. We are always looking for ways to improve performance. - Design Coordination. You'll work closely with our graphic designers to brief, coordinate, and review email campaign and flow designs, ensuring every send is on-brand and conversion-ready. - Klaviyo Implementation. You'll quality check and schedule campaigns, and collaborate with our Klaviyo technicians to build out emails accurately and on time. - Copywriting. You'll write high-converting email copy using AI tools, adapting tone and messaging to suit each brand's audience and voice. - Reporting & KPIs. You'll track performance at every level. This includes near-daily updates to clients, monthly account reports, and quarterly performance reviews. What You Bring - 2+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience building flows, campaigns, and segments across multiple eCommerce brands. - Direct experience managing 5+ client accounts, ideally in an agency or freelance setting. - Strong email copywriting skills with the ability to write and edit short-form copy that converts across both text and image based formats. - Deep knowledge of core email flows including Welcome, Cart Abandon, Browse Abandon, Post-Purchase, and Winback. - Confidence in A/B testing, running strategic tests on subject lines, send times, content, and creative. - Solid grasp of segmentation and deliverability.
