What you’ll do: As the LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer you will support our customers with the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Eaton LV equipment across the EMEA region. A successful candidate must be based in the UK and Ireland region and be flexible to travel within EMEA. • As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will perform installation, commissioning, inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of rotating equipment at customer sites. • You will serve as the primary technical representative on site, ensuring safe, high quality, and timely execution while maintaining strong collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders. • Executing installation, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance of rotating equipment and associated auxiliaries. • Performing precision mechanical tasks including alignment, leveling, torqueing, dimensional checks, and assembly/disassembly. • Diagnosing mechanical issues and collaborating with technical support teams to define corrective actions. • Leading customer communication, site planning, daily coordination, and supervision of craft labor/subcontractors. • Preparing accurate Field Service Reports, daily logs, punch lists, and technical documentation. • Ensuring full compliance with QHSE requirements, including JSAs, toolbox talks, LOTO, and Permit‑to‑Work processes.
