Role Description We’re looking for a commercially minded, people‑focused Business Development Executive to help grow a fast‑moving digital qualitative research business. You’ll manage outreach, nurture leads, book demos, and support the wider commercial team in building a strong, predictable pipeline. This is a hands‑on role within a small, specialist, fully remote team. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your approach, the flexibility to work the hours that suit you, and the opportunity to progress quickly. - Conduct targeted outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone. - Follow up on inbound leads, quotes, and warm opportunities. - Book and manage client demos with senior commercial support. - Build and maintain a well‑qualified pipeline. - Add new high‑potential contacts weekly and explore emerging sectors. - Re‑engage lapsed clients and nurture ongoing relationships. - Attend industry conferences to gather leads. - Keep CRM data clean and up to date. Qualifications - Some understanding of the market research sector — ideally qualitative research, online communities, or experience within a research agency (preferred, not essential). - Business sales experience, including outreach, lead nurturing, and supporting or running demos. - Confidence speaking with experienced researchers and articulating value clearly. - A commercially minded approach and comfort managing the full sales cycle. - Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. - Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to iterate your approach. - Strong organisation and attention to detail. - A proactive, self‑motivated approach to remote work. - Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. - A reliable internet connection. - You must be UK‑based with full right to work. - Preference for candidates in the South East.
