Webflow
• Serve as the primary commercial legal partner to Webflow’s rapidly-scaling go-to-market organization. • Own end-to-end legal support for enterprise and mid-market deals, acting as a senior advisor, deal closer, and escalation point for pre- and post-Sales teams. • Enable deal teams through strategy, training, enablement materials, and playbooks. • Independently lead and close complex enterprise negotiations with customers of all sizes and industries, exercising sound judgment that balances revenue impact, legal risk, and precedent. • Draft, negotiate, and refine a broad range of commercial agreements (MSAs, DPAs, Professional Services, Partnerships, and bespoke addenda) that align with Webflow’s evolving goals. • Translate complex legal and contractual concepts into clear, actionable guidance that enables informed decisions, encourages self-service from sales teams, and consistent contracting across sales motions. • Partner with product, privacy, and cross-functional teams to deeply understand Webflow’s products and roadmap, ensuring commercial terms accurately reflect current and future capabilities. • Hone AI-enabled legal tools and processes to speed up commercial workflows and free up legal bandwidth for high-impact work, ensuring strong guardrails for accuracy, confidentiality, and judgment.
Job Requirements
- Are admitted and in good standing in a relevant U.S. jurisdiction, with a background that includes law firm training and meaningful in-house experience supporting revenue-generating teams.
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience with deep exposure to fast-scaling cloud businesses where speed, judgment, and pragmatism matter as much as (if not more than) technical legal precision.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating high-touch commercial agreements in complex, multi-jurisdictional B2B SaaS/PaaS environments.
