Job Details The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible. Candidates and associates may be asked to travel to corporate offices for interviews, training and/or meetings. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States. CNO Financial Group is hiring a Systems Reporting Analyst to support the overall ongoing assessment of assigned systems’ performance metrics compared to plan and general overall performance. The Systems Reporting Analyst is expected to independently develop queries to build and deliver requested reports on key metrics, to identify problem areas, and to develop possible solutions and improvements. As a Systems Reporting Analyst, your responsibilities will include: - Develop key metric reporting and report on the drivers of deviations from plan, which typically involves sales performance, but may include other metrics. - Provide actionable information and analysis/recommendations for improving performance of responsible applications/processes/data flows. - Support management with various reporting and ad hoc analyses designed to build transparency, improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of performance. - Collaborate on various projects with internal CNO employees and outside vendors as needed. - Conduct data validation to ensure the integrity of the reporting and analytics completed. The Systems Reporting Analyst position is well-suited for you if you have: - Technical skills involving Business Objects (or similar), SAS, Tableau, Power Point, and Word. - Independent critical thinking skills. - Ability to present complex, fact-based analyses in a comprehensible manner. - Ability and willingness to work independently and part of a team. What you’ll need: - Associate’s degree, Relevant Certificate, or Directly Related Work Experience. - 1 year of experience with data creation, data validation and/or key metric reporting. - 1 year of experience with Business Objects, SAS, Tableau, PowerPoint, and Word. What will set you apart: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline. - Certifications/Licenses: SQL, Tableau, Business Objects, PowerBI. - 2+ years of work experience in data report creation and monitoring. - Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
