• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis. • Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction. • Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest. • Engage with functions outside of supply chain (Finance, Engineering, Operations, programs etc.) to ensure a timely resolution of medium to complex supply chain issues. • Be proactive to mitigate and minimize supply chain risks, to prevent critical line stops. • Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance. • Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices. • Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts. • Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. • Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries. • Responsible for all aspects of the supplier relationships within a commodity. • Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost. • May perform delivery assurance responsibilities.

• Drive vendor consolidation, pricing normalization, and contract discipline • Own enterprise-wide vendor spend visibility, sourcing, and negotiation • Establish procurement workflows and approval processes, as necessary, without slowing down the business • Partner with FP&A to integrate savings into budgeting and forecasting • Over time, develop supplier performance metrics and ongoing vendor management

• Support the development and implementation of the Procurement Transformation strategy and go-to-market vision, taking ownership of one or more key initiatives to support growth. • Provide assistance in business development activities, including the creation and delivery of sales materials and proposal responses to clients. • Provide leadership and oversight to team members in the execution of strategic internal initiatives with the Procurement Transformation team. • Support a wide range of Business Transformation projects, encompassing system strategy and selection, process improvement, operations performance enhancement, change management, program and project management, data analytics, and business analysis • Assist organizations in identifying, assessing, and analyzing procurement and finance-related business challenges, spend data, or other areas to enable clients to enhance their operating model and increase impact across procurement, finance and accounting capabilities • Contribute knowledge and best practices pertaining to other critical business processes such as Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Financial Close • Assess client’s Procurement operations and identify transformative change initiatives through detailed procurement analysis, including but not limited to: supplier spend, vendor master data, category savings identification, buy-pay channels, process & compliance management • Drive client maturity assessments across procurement capabilities, processes, and general operations • Lead the execution of procurement cost savings (e.g., RFPs, Negotiations) and other optimization activities • Develop data-driven business cases for transformational change programs • Project management: Assess and escalate project issues, risks, or conflicts to leadership, proactively suggesting resolutions to ensure smooth project completion • Mentor team members through coaching, regular ongoing feedback, annual performance reviews, and actively support project teams in resolving complex issues

As a Buyer, you are responsible for placing and authorizing purchase orders within assigned limits. You will expedite orders, track deliveries, resolve shipping errors, and maintain accurate records following established guidelines. Responsibilities: - Reviews daily purchasing reports and system recommendations and determines proper quantities and items to purchase and creates purchasing documents to send suppliers. - Maintains inventory availability while minimizing working capital investment. - Tactical execution of stock replenishment, special order (SO), and drop ship (DS) buying where assigned while making buying decisions based on most economical method with respect to quantities, order minimums or prepaid terms and mode of transportation. - Guarantees accurate purchase order quantities, costs, notes and terms compliance. - Ensures electronic data interchange (EDI), automated stock replenishment (ASR/VMI), emailed and faxed orders reach suppliers. - Follows up with suppliers concerning order status and delivery and communicates delivery information to impacted departments. - Reviews daily supplier shipping error notices and takes appropriate action. - Reviews quarterly excess and inactive inventory reports and negotiates with suppliers to obtain return goods authorizations on excess and inactive material. - Assists managers with evaluating supplier performance related to on-time delivery, fill rates, shipping errors, transfer cost improvements, branch support, and other measures.
