We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer to join our design team and lead design across multiple product areas. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll shape product direction, raise the quality bar, and guide a team of designers while staying close to the work yourself. A key focus will be designing intelligent, efficient workflows that help users move through complex tasks with clarity and confidence. As we evolve, you’ll play a central role in how we integrate AI into the product experience not as a layer on top, but embedded in how the product works. From anticipating user needs to simplifying decisions, you’ll help define what that looks like. What you’ll do: - Own and drive design across multiple product teams—from discovery to delivery—setting direction and ensuring quality. - Shape product strategy in close partnership with product and engineering, aligning user needs with business goals. - Design end-to-end experiences and deliver high-quality UI, staying hands-on from concept to implementation. - Guide and support senior designers through feedback, mentorship, and clear direction—helping them grow and do their best work. - Raise the bar for design across the organization, improving quality, consistency, and craft. - Help define and evolve our design practice processes, rituals, and ways of working. - Drive design awareness across the company shifting to a product-led mindset where design sets the bar and keeps us ahead. What you bring: - A strong portfolio that shows both strategic thinking and high-quality execution. - 8–10+ years of experience designing complex digital products, ideally in B2B or enterprise SaaS. - Experience leading or mentoring designers and influencing teams without formal authority. - Confidence working across the full product lifecycle, from ambiguity to shipped outcomes. - Strong communication skills you can clearly explain decisions and bring others along. - A hands-on mindset. • Create performance creatives for our ads (Meta, TikTok, etc.) — both video and image formats • Edit and post-produce UGC and ad videos based on creative strategy briefs (hook, structure, variants) • Develop and rapidly implement and iterate image and video variants for creative tests • Design social media graphics and visuals • Create design assets for our e-commerce shop (e.g., banners, campaign visuals, product presentations) • Design graphics and banners for email marketing and campaigns • Image editing and optimization of product photos (retouching, color correction, etc.) • Work closely with our Creative Strategy / Marketing team, which provides concepts and briefs • Use modern tools and AI-supported workflows for efficient content production

• Prepare detailed civil design drawings and documentation that support engineering deliverables and construction supervision activities. • Develop and maintain design documentation for site infrastructure elements associated with solar PV and BESS projects, as defined by the engineering team. • Assist in drafting schematic and detailed layouts from site investigation and engineering inputs. • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure drafting outputs align with project requirements and design intent. • Apply drafting and documentation standards to deliver accurate, compliant, and coordinated drawings for project delivery. • Assist with broader business project management, project coordination and document control tasks.

A Brief Overview The Designer Hourly uses computer or technical tools to prepare detailed presentation of building material requirements and or systems for assigned project or related segment. This position may design and complete layouts of residential roof and floor systems for pricing and manufacturing. What you will do - Designs residential roof and floor systems and produces layouts. - Discusses changes and corrections with engineers, architects and contractors prior to and during construction. - Presents, sells and follows-up on new jobs. - Prepares roof truss and truss joist floor layouts. - Performs job site inspections. - Produces materials list. - Determines special notes to append contracts. - Resolves architectural and design discrepancies. - Assists in the shipping department. - Read and understand blueprints and detailed technical drawings. - Use computer or other technical equipment to provide a technically accurate layout (takeoff) of customer order. - Adhere to local building codes and material constraints when developing material list and design layout. - Produce final copies for contractor use for bathrooms, kitchens, decks, patios and others as assigned. - Assist customers as required, providing accurate, timely and thorough customer service. - Measure and scale projects on-site. - Invoice project, schedule installation and delivery of products and materials. Education Qualifications - High School or GED required. - Associate's Degree in civil, architectural or design related field may be required. - Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Applicable work experience may be substituted for education requirement. Experience Qualifications - 1 year of drafting experience in a construction or building materials-related industry required. Skills and Abilities - Special skills required—Proficient technical writing skills. Excellent salesmanship and communication skills. Proprietary software, AUTOCAD, computer literate, ability to read technical drawings. - Special knowledge required—Reading and interpreting blueprints in an architectural related industry. - Other—PC Literate with Microsoft Office products, AUTO CAD, and other design programs that facilitate learning in-house program with ease. .
