Role Description The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting and financial reporting functions through the accurate processing of financial transactions, account reconciliations, journal entries, tax filings, and audit support activities. This role partners closely with the Finance team and corporate stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting policies, maintain the integrity of financial records, and support month-end and year-end close processes. Role Description We are seeking a Senior Biosolids Engineer to join TYLin’s Water Sector with a focus in biosolids treatment, handling, and/or dewatering. As a senior biosolids resource, you will be asked to provide technical capabilities to support our biosolids project delivery across the Water Sector. This is an opportunity for you to shape TYLin’s biosolids capabilities and project portfolio to establish leadership in the biosolids practice area. Responsibilities - Lead and participate directly in the design of both public and private sector projects to deliver biosolids treatment, dewatering, and handling (i.e. digestion, thickening, dewatering, beneficial reuse, disposal, resource recovery, biogas utilization) including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies. - Coordinate the design with review/input from various municipal/utility/approval agencies/stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals. - Liaise with clients, municipalities, and other agencies to secure approvals. - Coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams within TYLin to deliver solutions to our clients. - Develop and manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule. - Prepare contract documents for construction (i.e. engineering drawings and specifications). - Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects. - Participate in the permitting process of projects, which may require meetings with clients, contractors, reviewing agency personnel, and governing entities. - Prepare engineering project proposals, change orders, client contact, and communication pertaining to specific projects. - Manage and lead team members while working on projects, complete tasks, and delegate specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate. - Represent TYLin at local and national professional associations and conferences. - Develop technical standards and best practices for biosolids for the Water Sector. Role Description The Associate, Senior Physical Security Designer will provide support to the Physical Security Consultants to design and implement physical security systems for our clients and their facilities and assets. This role involves collaborating with internal Physical Security Consultants and BIM Designers, as well as external design teams such as Architects and MEP consultants. The position requires up to 20% travel to client sites and project locations. The Engineering Designer will support the design and implementation of innovative Stormwater and climate resiliency infrastructure projects for the City of Richmond and other localities in Virginia. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Program Manager to manage the planning, design, and construction of these projects. Work may include the review of plans with permit applications submitted by engineers to the City of Richmond.
